All the Celebrities Spotted at the 2023 U.S. Open
The Obamas were among the stars in attendance on the first night of the tournament.
The annual U.S. Open in New York showcases the best of the best in tennis, but it's also a magnet for celebrities each summer.
"New York—it’s different," American tennis star Frances Tiafoe told T&C last summer. "Night on Ashe is so special, I think words can’t describe what playing night on Ashe means to me. It’s the biggest court in tennis, the atmosphere is wild, and it’s for people like me. I really take that in." The atmosphere is typically filled with rowdy New York fans, but also movie stars, singers, politicians, and more.
On the first night of the Open alone to watch Coco Gauff play the opening match for the night session at Arthur Ashe Stadium, former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama were in the stands, as were celebrities like Gayle King, Danny Devito, and Taylor Zakhar Perez. Here, see all the celebrities who have been spotted at the 2023 U.S. Open—and be sure to check back throughout the next two weeks, as we'll be updating this gallery.
