Artemisia partners with leading international organizations to promote and spread the cause of Social-Business Ventures by:
  • Creating a larger network of entrepreneurs, increasing the scope and depth of our impact
  • Reaching more people in key audiences

    own practices

  • Artemisia & Ashoka
    Nurturing entrepreneurs of today & tomorrow
    Since 2004, Artemisia and Ashoka have been working together to recognize and provide support to leading Social-Business entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs throughout the world. The global partnership objectives for 2008 include:

  • To disseminate Social-Business Ventures concepts in the Ashoka network and support Ashoka Fellows working in this area
  • To exchange knowledge and experiences about Social-Business Ventures
  • To strengthen the pipeline of future entrepreneurs for Artemisia and Ashoka in Brazil and India

    Ashoka is the global association of the world?s leading social entrepreneurs'men and women with system changing solutions for the world?s most urgent social problems. Since 1981, Ashoka has elected over 2,000 leading social entrepreneurs as Ashoka Fellows.

    Partnership outcomes:
  • Artemisia funds the stipend of Ashoka Fellows whose ventures are aligned with Artemisia's concept of Social Business. To date, 10 Ashoka Fellows have been funded worldwide, and our ambition is to support 10 more by the end of 2010
  • Artemisia is supporting the Ashoka-McKinsey Business Plan training in Brazil, the Southern Cone and the Andean Region.
  • Artemisia is supporting the expansion of Ashoka's youth initiative to the northeast of Brazil and to new regions in India
  • Artemisia offers Social Business training materials, sessions and panels ventures to Ashoka's youth initiative in Brazil and in India
  • Artemisia and Ashoka are adapting the Ashoka-McKinsey Business Plan methodology for young potential entrepreneurs

  • Artemisia & AIESEC
    Engaging the next generation in Social-Business Ventures
    Since 2004, Artemisia and AIESEC have been working together to engage outstanding students from around the world in learning about Social-Business Ventures. The global partnership objectives for 2008 include:
  • To give young people practical experience working with Social-Business Ventures
  • To support AIESEC's global membership in learning about Social Business
  • To create a global network of young people engaged in the topic of Social Business


    AIESEC is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential to provide leadership for a positive impact on society. AIESEC's network of 32.000 students & recent graduates manages 5.000 international internships, 7.000 leadership opportunities, and 350 learning events each year.

    Partnership outcomes:
  • Artemisia funds stipends for AIESEC members to do internships with Social-Business entrepreneurs. 62 internships have been realized to date across Latin America, and 2009 will see a further 22 internships in the region, plus 8 internships in India
  • Artemisia provides Social Business tools and resources through AIESEC's internal web portal, MyAIESEC.net
  • Artemisia staff and Entrepreneurs run workshops and participate in discussions at global & regional AIESEC events
  • Artemisia & AIESEC in Brazil manage the "Social-Business Ventures Challenge", where selected AIESEC members create solutions for real challenges faced by Artemisia Entrepreneurs. These members are given specialist training and support
  • Artemisia funds 2 meetings per year where AIESEC members are invited to share experiences and ideas
